In Focus captures critical moments of each year and showcases IBE’s flagship programs. In Focus is more than a beautiful piece of work: it is a call to action—an invitation to the world to join the IBE’s efforts toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 and the global Education2030 agenda.

We wanted to pay homage to the renowned designer Gunter Rambow, whose work has been an endless source of inspiration. So, we worked to recreate physically and then photograph one of his illustrations for the cover. The cover shows a book that opens like a window and behind it we see the color gradient of a dawn sky.

The second issue marked a new direction in the editorial approach, looking to give a comprehensive overview of a current theme of relevance in the field of education. For this second issue the theme was Education and The Future, exploring neuroscience insights into how we learn or the impact of technology in the classroom.
